Technology with purpose.
Research to understand, prevent and transform.
My work grows from a simple conviction: the most complex problems of the digital age cannot be understood from a single discipline.
I am a socio-technical researcher with an engineering background and a career focused on the intersection of technology, cybersecurity, digital intelligence and the social sciences. My specialty is analyzing complex digital phenomena, identifying patterns, developing research methodologies and turning evidence into strategies that support prevention, decision-making and public policy design.
I work where data and people converge.
I study how emerging technologies, digital platforms and artificial intelligence are reshaping violence, security, information, social relationships and the exercise of rights. To do so, I combine data analysis, OSINT (Open Source Intelligence), cybersecurity and digital investigation tools with perspectives from criminology, cybercriminology, human rights and the social studies of technology.
I am especially interested in turning scattered information into useful knowledge. Designing methodologies to understand phenomena before intervening. Translating complex problems into clear solutions. Building bridges between technical language and the needs of those who design public policy, run programs or make strategic decisions.
Throughout my career I have collaborated on research, assessments, protocols, training programs and innovation projects for public institutions, civil society organizations, international bodies and multidisciplinary teams.
I believe technology is not neutral, but it is not inevitable either. Digital tools can amplify risks or strengthen rights; generate violence or create opportunities; reproduce inequalities or help resolve them. Understanding that tension is the starting point of my work.
Rather than simply keeping up with technological change, I seek to understand its social implications and to build knowledge that helps create safer, more responsible and more human digital environments.
